Bluebikes is Metro Boston's public bike share program, with over 4,000+ bikes and more than 400+ stations across Arlington, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Newton, Revere, Salem, Somerville, and Watertown. It’s a fun, affordable and convenient transportation option for quick trips around town.
Bluebike stations are located on CambridgeSide Place and Canal Park.
Cambridge Bike Give Back
Cambridge Bike Give back collects used bikes and give them away for free to people who need them. Their idea was to provide free bikes to kids as well adults that need them to get around the city or get to work. They receive bikes from donations, refurbish them and give them away for free.
Since the project started they have given away more than 1,800 bikes.
