CambridgeSide Hosts Kids at Camp Donation Drive

for The Salvation Army of Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS (May 2023) – CambridgeSide has partnered with The Salvation Army of Cambridge to ensure that struggling families can send their children to camp with essential items this summer.

Through June 11, Kids at Camp donations can be dropped off at CVS on Level 1 at CambridgeSide.

Suggested new items include beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen, water bottles, and backpacks. For a complete list, visit CambridgeSide.com. Monetary donations can be made at Give.SalvationArmy.org/give/MA.

“Overnight camp is a life-changing opportunity that is not often a reality for many low-income families. Thanks to the generous support of our community, The Salvation Army is giving local youth an enriching and memorable summer experience. The Kids at Camp Donation Drive at CambridgeSide will provide campers with the items they need when they head off for a week of overnight camp at our Camp Wonderland,” says Major Judy Hart, The Salvation Army Cambridge Corps Community Center.

“CambridgeSide is pleased to continue our partnership with The Salvation Army in Cambridge to collect donations to help children in our community enjoy their time at summer camp,” says Melissa LaVita, Regional Marketing Director for CambridgeSide. For more information, visit CambridgeSide.com.
